From now on, treatment with LDR brachytherapy requires only one full day of inpatient care at the clinic.

With LDR brachytherapy, the seeds are implanted in a single session; with external radiation therapy, on the other hand, treatment takes several months.
Younger patients who are still working can usually return to work just one day after the seeds have been implanted. No rehabilitation measures are necessary.
